The sculpture park

31 hectares of open-air exhibition
The Sculpture Park

Winter Closure: The Château des Pères estate will be completely closed from December 22, 2025 to January 7, 2026 inclusive for maintenance work and to allow all our teams to enjoy the holiday season. Thank you for your understanding.

There are no gates to enter the Château des Pères Sculpture Park: simply stroll through it. Nestled in the heart of a 31-hectare estate dating back to the 18th century, the site offers visitors a permanent exhibition of figurative and monumental sculptures that interact with the surrounding nature.

Each artwork finds its place, as if suspended in the landscape, inviting contemplation, wonder, and reflection. The park's contemporary history began in 2011 when Jean-Paul Legendre, a collector and art enthusiast, acquired the Château. His ambition was clear: to share his passion for sculpture by creating a space freely accessible to all—from seasoned collectors and art lovers to the simply curious—and open to artists, whether established or emerging. This unique, vibrant, and evolving place celebrates creation in all its forms and makes the Château des Pères a place where art is discovered, felt, and experienced.

A 3-kilometer art trail Open to all, free access

The Château des Pères Sculpture Park is open to all and free of charge. The only exception is that prior authorization is required for groups of more than 15 people.

The Park welcomes visitors every day: from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm in summer and from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm in winter.Along a 3-kilometer trail, you will discover monumental sculptures, as well as green spaces and rest areas.

The Works in the Park The Collection

At the Château des Pères, sculpture is more than an art form — it is a dialogue of craftsmanship, shared knowledge and material exploration. These core values shape the identity of the estate and resonate through every piece displayed in the park.

The artists, with their experience, freedom and creativity, enrich and expand the vision of the Domaine. They help us move forward while remaining true to our original purpose: to make the Château des Pères a place where art is lived, felt and passed on.

As you wander along the trail, you will encounter a unique collection bringing together renowned artists, emerging talents, and diverse artistic voices. Their creations — whether monumental or subtle — become part of a vast natural setting designed for exploration and contemplation.

It is a constantly evolving collection, spread across 31 hectares, in which each artwork contributes to shaping the ongoing artistic narrative of the estate.

A Yearly Encounter with Art Exhibitions

Once a year, the Sculpture Park of the Château des Pères hosts a solo exhibition by an internationally acclaimed artist. These major cultural events have helped shape the Domaine’s artistic identity, as several artworks presented over the years have been acquired to enrich the permanent collection.

Today, visitors can discover the work of 31 artists displayed throughout the Park. Among them are leading figures of contemporary sculpture such as Michel Audiard, Francis Guerrier, Christophe Charbonnel, Violaine Dejoie-Robin, Sylvie Icher, Remou, Nicolas Lavarenne, Michadu, Lisa VanHo, Cyrille André, Éric Theret, Davide Rivalta and Sophie Verger. Each artist brings a unique perspective, making the park a dynamic and inspiring open-air museum.

To stay informed about upcoming exhibitions, follow the Château des Pères on social media — a new artistic encounter awaits you every year.

The Current Exhibition Gallery Store

The Château des Pères Estate Gallery-Store presents, from April 24 to October 11, 2026, a free exhibition open to all, dedicated to the world of Emmanuel Michel. The artist unveils around fifteen creations. He recounts his encounters from the ends of the earth through his drawings, paintings, engravings, and sculptures.

As an extension of this exhibition, several of his monumental sculptures are installed in the heart of the Sculpture Park, offering an immersive experience at the crossroads of nature and art.
